I jsut noticed the new insurance changes. YIKES!!!! The menu is pretty nice to see what is insured and for how much. BUT, the amounts determined by the powers that be really SUCK! I have a question. Do the developers think things thru before implementing a change such as this? I don't think this will effect much for the die hard PvPers who just love to PvP, but for those starting out and trying it, it can be quite expensive. Heck, it can be very expensive ofr those of us that love to PvP. Personally I think the maximum for any insured item should be 600 gold, with being killed 300. It would be VERY nice if the faction kills were even lower, maybe 150-200 gold. Go ahead and check what each death costs you. Dev? Please rethink the financial cost of dying. Try to people to PvP and join factions, not deter them.
