This is something that isn't really important however I've been looking here and there and can't find any word on it, probly because it is so insignificant, however it would be nice for some of the fashionistics that we have...

So my question I guess would be, one day will there be a possibility of having sashes appear above a robe?

I'd like to see that, and I'm sure its just a small animation issue that wouldn't take *too* much effort :)

Then again, maybe it's like thousands and thousands of code and I'm an idiot :p

Please look on the internet and find a pic from a movie or wherever, that shows anyone wearing a robe with a sash over it, post it here, and I'll join your cause. Oh wait, there was that one Ms Universe Monk contest back in 1420...nevermind.

I would prefer they make armour less ugly, lessening the need for robes.

One way to accomplish this would be to allow armour to change graphics using an NPC gold sink. Studded arms could become plate arms, a plate do could become a leather tunic, etc. None of the properties would change but the graphic used. If you had a plate tunic it won't suddenly be mage armour by making it appear to be a leather tunic, for example. Hopefully this would encourage people to improve the look of their mismatched gear without sacrificing their beloved properties. But then, if we all had the same tastes then there'd be no complaints about neons.

Still, robes will be worn and sashes will be hidden.. not sure it's a wise idea to begin swapping the clothes layering about. Where would it end? Maybe they could introduce an over-the-robe sash for that toga look, would take either the apron or quiver slot though. Just depends where you want to make your choices.

I remember posting in a thread asking for this some years ago.

They give us robes as vet rewards and Shrouds as gifts.

Many of us also have Member of the Royal Brittanian Guard sashes.

Of course you can wear both but it seems rather pointless if you cannot see the sashes. It seems self evident to me that the sashes should be made top layer but as always no reply was made and nothing happened. If it is too difficult thats understandable but at least we could be told that.

If they made it so sashes were worn on the outside of robes then one of 2 things would happen:

    1. the sash is smaller than the robe, so it would look like it was going into the robe at the shoulder and the waste.

    2. if the sash was enlarged to graphically fit over the robe, then when worn w/o a robe the sash would look like the char was wearing a hoola hoop across their torso.

Wearables are no longer about fashion, they are about item properties. I'd like mods be per item slot, instead of specific items. Like the Resist from the snake skin boots, it'd be nice if you didn't have to have the boots graphic and have those resists on the sandles graphic for those who prefer that look.
