Is it bad to play a Protection Warrior?

I have been thinking about playing a warrior for a while as a main tank so i decided to play a Dreanei Warrior.
I can level fairly quickly while playing and i decided if i was going as a main tank i would chose the way of Protection to add to my survivability but while checking here and what others say then they way to go is Arms or Fury...

So is Protection really a poor choice to take?

I have chosen the same talent tree for my paladin and with him i have been able to survive and tank much higher levels that i currently have been with little trouble so its appearing to work well for me which is why i added this to my warrior.

To level up, Prot is bad to take. For instances, Prot is best to take.

So if you're wanting to level up, go with the other two.

  3. For leveling up, fury is the best since it offers the most ap, hit, and overall damage with the shortest downtime. Use 2h slam to level and you will breeze through quests.
