[Alchemy] Is there a "neo" CAP for Enhance Potion now?

    I was playing around with the new Alchemy related Shame items and put together the following suit:

    ring - 35 EP (tinker made would make it 50)
    bracelet - 35 EP
    kryss - 15 EP
    6PC suit - 15 EP
    Library tali 15 EP

    Total = 115 EP plus GM alchemy

    Is there still a cap on EP? If not, is there any reason to imbue this suit and make it useable in PvM?

    The EP cap is 50. It used to be uncapped but was changed.

    Is it capped for PVP only? Or does that also apply to PVM?

    Well heals are capped at 50EP, as far explosion potions and stuff not quite sure if its capped or not do some testing that would be some damaging Exp pots and conflags to chuck at creatures!

    The cap was 50% (from items) with additional +30% if your char had GM alchemy.

    Notes from pub 73:
    So, if the +75 is not a typo from before the ep cap was set at 50, todays cap should be 75% from items with an additional bonus of 30% if you have gm alchemy and 75% ep.

    (If i remember right, ecru citrines started with 75% ep, when those recipes were introduced, but the cap + value on those rings got reduced to 50% relativ shortly after.)

    I have been testing this and as far as I can see, the effective cap is 50 EP.

    With potion buffs, there is no doubt at all. 75% EP gives you exactly the same as 2 x 25% or one 50% Ecru ring.

    With healing, I have not been able to demonstrate any significant difference between 50% EP and 75% EP.

    With Explosion potions, there appears to be a small increase in damage between 50% EP and 75% EP but I have only done 50-100 Explosions at each combination of EP (0, 25%, 50% and 75%) and Alchemy (0 or 100). I am not convinced the apparent difference is anything more than chance, the inherent granularity of the data or the idiosyncratic RNG Mythic uses.
