for the devs to give an option for miners to stop getting unwanted small pieces of blackrock? I understand some want it and that's all good. I personally would like an option on a shovel or pickaxe to not have to get these annoying stones.

I believe they added them to help combat 24/7 script miners. Their packs fill up with those crappy little annoying rocks until they have no place to put the ore and it drops to the ground. Actually mining myself, I understand how annoying it can be but I don't see it changing anytime soon.

That makes sense. I wasn't aware it was to combat scripters

So the assumption is that a script can be written that is complex enough to recall from spot to spot... to mine each spot until the ore is gone... to recall away from danger... to smelt all the different types of ore into ingots... to make more tools when one breaks... and to unload ingots, gems and granite into a bank or chest at home... but those little black rock in their pack is gonna be the end of them? Yeah... wanna buy this bridge I have for sale?

I hadn't heard they were put in just to annoying scripters. But it wouldn't surprise me. It sounds like something UO would do. lol

Maybe if they made them red and called them red rock? lol I'll have a bunch of them and not even be able to see them in my pack.

Yes but scripters knowing how to code and script just write a script to drop them off at their recall spots... hence the large accumulations of them that you find from time to time.

If it was done to combat scripters, then it was not effective and served only to irritate and impede honest players. *sighs*

As with 99% of the "fixes" for scripting. It hurts non-cheaters more than the scripters.
