I didn't know the right spot to post this, but I thought it might be affecting other users. I view the Stratics forums about 50% of the time using my Blackberry 8310 Curve. It usually works great and I can keep track of what everyone is talking about each day while away from home. My work blocks blocks game related sites so that is the only way during lunch I can check the forums.

I never had any problems until about a month or two ago. Starting then, I would select a thread in UHall, a shard forum, a trade forum, or a profession forum and one of three things happens:

    - It works perfectly and opens the page
    - It opens the wrong thread, usually the one directly below the post I wanted
    - It re-loads the forum (or the page I was on)

The last action where I select a thread to read and it instead re-loads the forum is the most common error. It seems to be a problem most often (but not always) on threads I have read previously. However, I can't isolate that as the issue as it also fails me sometimes trying to read a thread I've never seen before.

So I'm a bit perplexed. I've never had any of the above issues using my home computer. And I have been viewing Stratics forums with this phone for well over a year and a half without any issues until recently. It could be an issue with the phone itself (maybe with Mini Opera), possibly a proxy server used by AT&T that feeds devices on their network, possibly an issue with an Opera provided proxy server, or an issue with Stratics. I never had these problems at all until about a month or two ago. It seems to me the issue started soon after Stratics changed hosts. I don't know if that is a culprit or not.

    Here are some specifics:
Network: AT&T EDGE (formerly the Cingular network)
    Phone: Blackberry Curve 8310
Browser: Opera Mini hifi lemontopic us v. 4.1.11355, 20080522
    Proxy: socket://server4.operamini.com:1080

Anyways, I wanted to know if anyone else was having this problem and if you might all have any suggestions? Thanks all!

No issues on my bb pearl. But I'm using the bb browser instead of mini opera.

The timeline of 1 month ago sounds like when they introduced the Stratics Theme Styles. Maybe opera isn't reading it right. Try disabling support for javascript, styles, tables etc

They changed a bit more than just adding the themes, but I was going to say it may have something to do with all the format changes that went on about a month ago or so.

That is my initial though too... that something that was changed on Stratics is causing the problem. I have no issues with any other websites I view on the phone.

I don't see any setting I can adjust to use or not use Java script in the browser.
