The humans have the Jack of All Trades trait, which give them a minimum of 20 skill points in all skills.

Assuming that my Bushido skill is at 0, and I put on a +10 Bushido ring, would my Bushido (with the ring on) be at 20, or 30?

20, JOAT does not stack with skill points from gear.

Too bad they nerfed the -Special Move Cost that Humans used to get from JoAT. Gave you a reason to remain Human as a Warrior. Now, Elves/Gargoyles make far superior Warriors AND Mages than Humans. Elves make better Miners/LJers, Gargoyles make better Artificers, and Humans make better Skinners. That's about all Humans have going for them right now.
