All these folks who have been removed from the game for whatever reason, they seem to have multiple accounts, and still playing, selling off items ingame and closeing the other accounts. I appriciate that tehy are closeing other accounts down, however, I am under the impression from EA TOS for Ultima Online, once a account is banned, all other accounts tied to that same account will be banned also. Will you guys catch up wiht these partial banned accounts, partial being that others that are still active but tied to the ones that were banned for what ever reason?

Again - from Jeremy's posts earlier this week - its pretty clear that they are completely unable to find/punish those who did the duping so they are going after items.

Their primary focus is removing the banned items so they are removing houses/accounts. They are not prepared to go after every account of your since 'hey, you might not be a duper'. They just want to get the goods it seems.

I know, pretty backwards it seems - but what do you expect?

In real life, if you were found to have a great deal of counterfeit money in your possession, do you think it would not be seized? If you were found to have a lot of goods purchased with counterfeit money, do you think you would be allowed to keep those goods?

NOTE: I did not suppose you were the counterfeiter, just that you had possession of counterfeit money or goods.

In UO, dupe=counterfeit, be it checks or items.

Dupers do not care if they get caught. When are you people going to figure this out? You cannot punish a duper because they have nothing to lose. The dupers are protesting and their goal is to hurt UO. They succeeded.

Think of it as an intermediate slap on the wrists ... somewhere between just turning all the duped items into monk's robes and invoking the "Internet death sentence" to blacklist all accumulators forever.

Personally I think if there really are people who lost one account out of many and were truly ignorant, they should take what they were hit with as a warning that they had become part of the problem and that if they don't start being more careful about their suppliers, because next time the response could be even harsher.

We all want faster action on exploits, we all want a safe marketplace where you just go "I see it, I buy it", but UO is too complex to be completely bulletproof. UO is at times more of a community more than it is a game and there are rules that go beyond simply what is possible in the client. Trading in questionable items is like swearing, harassing or scripting ... things that are mechanically possible, but still forbidden. You can't trust the game code to prevent you from breaking the community standards. If you're going to be a high end merchant dealing in volumes that would get you targetted, you need accept this as the risk to your reward. I know that's a really scary thought because there's no little warning flag that says "if you touch this, you will go grey", but the real-world equivilant is to be caught in possession of stolen property - if you own a pawn shop, most jurisdictions demand you do due dillegence on your clients.

Now if people have constructive ideas on how to seperate the trustworthy from the untrustworthy, move more of the burden onto the game's code and restore faith in the game's open markets, now's the time to suggest them.

Instead of worrying about other people. Why aren't you worried about the vendors that are still selling these items that caused people to get banned?
I have reported a vendor almost a week ago and he is still selling these items. He has sold over 50 barbed kits in a week. How many people do you know, that has over 50 barbed kits? Do you also think that a legitiment duper will use the same credit card for more than one account to dupe items? Most of the dupers probably pay with game time codes purchased with gold they make from selling these items.
