A stable I go to has a horse that has won trophys, ribbons, and what not. The owner now uses him for lessons and training camps. You can put a 4 year old on him- his name is Thunder- and he'll just follow commands and do what-ever is asked of him. He has cancer, and the owners have had him operated on and treated a number of times, but it still keeps coming back. Tomorrow, they are going to put him down. Yeah, I know- this has nothing to do with Siege. How-ever, I have no where else to vent, so I am venting here. To bad for you. This horse is just the greatest. He is so full of personality, life, history, and all the little kids love him. My mouth is full of profanity, which I cannot include here. I hate cancer, and all diseases that bring animals and people to their ends before their time. People I don't like so much- that's my problem- not yours- but animals I have never had a problem with. I will miss this horse. He greets me every day that I go there. I really wish that someone or something somewhere was responsible for this cancer, so that I could direct my rage. But there isn't. My heart goes out to anyone or any group that has lost family/friends/aquaintances or anything else to something like this. Just a damn helpless feeling. And he isn't even my horse. But he is a great horse, and he will be missed by many people. That is all- end of vent. Thank you.
