How low does your karma go if you don't kill things to raise it?
got my beggar to GM just before Halloween, and he has never killed anything at all that I remember, and he is at fair
truth be told, the outcome of a battle between him and a mongbat is uncertain
That's great. I was thinking the karmic damage might be a lot worse.
Does Karma effect what you get from begging and does begging raise or lower your Karma?
Not sure since I haven't started a beggar yet, but I found the following in the Revised FAQ (see forum sticky):
Q: How much money do I get for each beg?
A: A random number between 1 and 24. Skill plays no part, but karma does (the higher the karma, the higher the potential profit.)
Q: What's the highest Karma/Fame title level that I can have if I use begging a lot?
A: 2nd lvl Karma (i.e. Kind) and 4th lvl Fame (Lord Status). You can have higher karma, but it goes away quite fast.
I've got down as far as level +1 karma strictly from Begging, and I've begged as much as 25gp at top karma.
