KR users settings:graphics:min free system mem

I started having frequent KR crashes with the last publish, perhaps 1 or 2 per hr. Normally I'd generally have zero or 1 crash. Granted, I am doing the quests a lot so the areas are different for most of the crashes. But even crashes due to recall to town runes seem to crash more often since the publish.

This thread http://vboards.stratics.com/showthread.php?t=90142 mentioned adjusting the cache sizes, so I thought I'd check them again. I changed min free system mem from 5 to 128 and all went well for about an hr. Logged in on another char, crash. Logged back in and checked the free system setting had reverted back to 5.

It appears that this always changes back to 5 whether I crash or log out. LOoks like this is in the global usersettings.xml so it should apply to all chars once it is set. Anyone else having crash problems with this setting set to 5? Anyone else able to permanently change this value?

I am not having crash problems, but I have found that many user settings do not globally set to all characters on the same account. They are set character by character. (Which can be handy if you like big back packs on one character and small ones on another.)
