Linux and 3rd Party Program Detection?

    Now I know there have been tons of discussions on the topic of 3rd party program detection, I'm not worried about that but I do have a concern about how it effects those of us that do not run Windows. I know some of us use WINE both on Macs and Linux based PC's to allow us to Run UO without having a Windows installation, and I'm interested to know not only if the plans for 3rd party program detection took in account not all of us are Windows users, but I wanted to provide a chance for those of us using Non-Windows O/S to chime in with any additional concerns.
