Looking to get back into PVP after a decade+

    I left right before AoS
    basically played pre UOR and UOR

    after a week of figuring things out after so long
    I tried a champ spawn in fel with some friends and we totally got jacked up by a pk guild

    they were casting all new spells (for me at least, think it was mysticism)

    Anyways, My question is whats the spell rotation these days for pvp
    Used to be-
    Explosion
    Poison
    Mindblast
    Ebolt
    Fireball
    Magic Arrow

    Some version of that at least

    Whats the most used pvp spells these days?
    Thanks, I know its kind of a subjective answer since everyone plays different

    if im not mistaken right now the uber template is a dog garg thrower.

    they dont dole out the hardest damage, but they are next to impossible to kill!

    mindblast is a worthless spell for the most part, poison isn't as great as it use to be now that having 120 resist gives you a chance to resist it plus if you have poisoning on the character it gives you a chance to cure it with out a pot and plus if you cure poison with anything other than a cure pot you get an extra chance to auto cure it. magic arrow and fireball is used a little bit to disrupt spells.

    It is hard to say what the best "combo" is now because there are so many options out there with necro, mysticism, spell weaving and so on, but a lot of people start out with explosion, curse and go from there.

    yah when we got raided in fel during a champ spawn
    all the spells weren't any that I remember
    guess ill have to get owned a couple times before I know
    what the basics are :(

    can never go wrong with a stealth archer, hehe

    that way you can see whats going on and see what the others are using.
    then start to bring that into your playbook

    Back from 12 years, game super easy now compared to before. Will this temp work in pvp
    120 arch
    120 tac
    120 fence
    100 heal
    120 anatomy
    120 ressist
    I am building this myself currently making arrows in the thousands before I begin the whole mega train thing. But is this a valid template ? I will use pots, and dp for the most part. I have no idea about bushido, or necro, or chiv, or any of the new stuff but seems in pvp its very quick so would rather charge in and kill the mage like the old days then sit around hitting buttons for 5 minutes? Am I way off
    Please advise

    drop tactics and anatomy to 90. that's all that's really needed.

    I disagree on this, I have 120 tact/anat and 90 heal on my fencer/archer and I love it.

    Mainly because moving shots with a heavy just destroy people. A lot of people still use magic reflect and it puts their physical to 65. My moving shot with the heavy alone does 28-30 dmg per swing on them - and that isn't even counting the hit spells.

    I also use a Yumi, and my double shot on someone that is disarmed, when all 4 hit spells go off, does 78 damage.

    All about personal preference, but I definitely prefer 120 tact/anat on this template.

    I do agree with you, I would prefer 120's, but i have cramped my template so bad, (also only 710 cap) I had to make some sacrifices and went with the "bare minimum"...
