There's a post up in Uhall today with an interview done by Lord British. All sorts of speculation is going on about what sort of mmo he's creating that is 'more like UO' and "less like wow and eq" Even more buzz is generating about how possible it would really be for Richard Garriot to get his Ultima crap back. I met him in person at a launch for Tabula Rasa a couple of years ago. I was so 'star struck' I could hardly speak, and instead babbled around like an idiot for 20 minutes, and then handed him a stack of UO Tshirts I'd had made, and made him sign them for me. His cohort who helped him design Ultima, as well as TR was with him (sadly I cannot remember his freaking name) and I made them both take a picture with my son and I. The entire incident was ridiculous and I acted like a complete and utter tool. My husband laughed at my 'grace-fail' for ages. On another note, my son accidently handed Richard Garriot one of our guild's "World of Warcraft" t-shirts to sign, and Garriot signed it gracefully without saying a word. You know that poor man wanted to stab me in the eyeball with his sharpie. Anyway, good memories. I considered posting the photo here, but I really, REALLY look like a star struck Summer's Eve product that Lord Gareth will not allow me to say.
