I did not add the entire post but here is your answer...

The following macros are not supported:

    SetUpdateRange
    ModifyUpdateRange
    IncreaseUpdateRange
    DecreaseUpdateRange
    MaxUpdateRange
    MinUpdateRange
    DefaultUpdateRange
    UpdateRangeInfo
    EnableRangeColor
    DisableRangeColor
    ToggleRangeColor

  7. I could be mistaken because I don't remember how it was done anymore, but at one point lag was so severe due to having to load so many items and people around you, that you could decrease your visible range.

When you're running along, if you ever catch the outer edge of the perimeter, and it appears grey, then when you get closer it colors itself in, this was part of that range you used to be able to adjust.

You could adjust your range at one point to just within a few tiles of yourself or to the default max range.

It helped a little bit with lag but ultimately they fixed the lag issue. Man, it was some bad lag too.
