I was adding spiderwebs and old rubble to my evil tower and as I was doing this, I came up with an idea and here it is in case you would like a spider of your own to inhabit your new web...

The rubble I used is the one in the bag to the right of the web, but I used it in a black. Since I have dark walls, the top part blends in to the wall and doesn't show. I thought it ended up looking like two spiders in the web cocooning some poor soul and his faithful dog :mf_prop:

Thats a very clever idea :)

Maybe the devs could add little spiders (like the bats in graveyard) as a rare drop on the spiderkind in the terrathankeep! *hints* ;)

But I do think I should make a dive in my rubble plant box when I get home from work.

Some of the garbage rubble, especially burnt, make passable small spider swarms, if placed on those cocoons ant then shrouded by a web.

That looks great! I wonder what else could be used for a similar (though less expensive) effect. Maybe a black cattail, or a black prickly pear or elephant ear?

My thoughts too. I don't have rubble to look through to find, so can anyone think of something else to use? That does look way cool!

I'll have to try some other options when I get a chance. If anyone comes up with any good looking substitutes, please post a pic!

    The Kama...

As they are paired, and drawn at an angle to each other, you can put two pair of kama to each side (2 east, 2 south) to give 8 legs.

The hard part is getting the ones from loot that are reversed from the craftable direction.

Also, flower garlands would probably make good spiders/bugs, if dyed black.

I actually bought mine since I didn't want to waste a charge, but I believe you chop some wood other then plain and then dye it in log form? Then you make kindling out of it. If it doesn't dye in log form, try it in wood form... I've never done it, but the wood and kindling are all over the place on Atlantic.

I don't have black, but I do have dark grey. It still looks like a spider and I don't even have a web. I just raised it up on the cocoon the way hunter did. The top almost blends with my wall and kind of looks like the spider is dropping down from the ceiling. Really gross since I hate spiders.

Tok shadow dye is what they used. I will try to see how the yarn and kindling works today sometime. Good idea adding the yarn, hope it works as a cheap alternative for peeps :)

You can dye any of the elven woods with tokuno dye. but don't dye the wood prior to crafting anything because the crafting gump won't recognize it as wood... i made that mistake! but you can craft furniture and stuff with any of the elven woods then dye with tok dye. also (what i love best) is you can craft a bed deed using elven wood and then dye the deed BEFORE you place the bed (if you place it, then re-deed it, you can't dye the deed anymore). i have a white bed, a black bed and a red bed all dyed with tok dye (just the blanket part changes color, not the whole bed). same with looms and stuff :)

PS - Hunter i love the spiders you created - i'm going to have to try that this weekend :)
