I am going to try this again with another reference to UO and a good topic which I hope can stay positive :)

Massively's Eliot Lefebvre put up a good topic less than hour ago that can relate to many of you UO'ers out around the world.

I so remember my first character on my first account in UO. To this day it still has alot of meaning through my many MMO's journey. I recently created two characters in GW2 that relates to my GW1 character but as decendants in a RP sense even though you will find me in WvW bashing and killing hundreds of players a night.

When I make a character, I truly think of a good name or use a name in the many books of the Dragon Lance series that are my favorites characters. So going back to UO and my first character I ever created I used Sturm Brightblade. Many original UO players had the names also. Tanis half Elvin, Taselfhoff, Flint Fireforge, Caramon and Raistlin Majere just to name a few. In GW1 and GW2 names are unique and if already used you can't use the name. UO as we know is way different and many players can use the same name which can cause confusion at times since there is no name reservation.

My journeys through UO was wonderful and frustrating through the times. My characters names may not been unique but to me they were. They reflected upon my enjoyment of the books I read which I stil do.

I hope you all have a great discussion and many of a good stories to read.

Lucy Quickstitch - Tailor/Tamer! Back in '99 on Europa, ended up a Swordswoman/Healer and her name made (and to this day still) makes no sense!

Love her to bits, but even though I think fondly of her, I also feel a bit sorry for her as she was the one I made all my noobie errors on (obviously) and in my husband's eyes she's still rubbish to this day LOL.

    Lucy :)

My first char was Freja, i choose that name as it said slot about, what I wanted my char to be. Nice, kind, helpful and famed.
Except Freja did get an evil side, I did not believe she would have, she very mush what I wanted her to be.
She loves with med from Atlantic to Siege. She had also been with med in Linage2, DAoC, WoW, where I had to give her a second name as there already was a Freja.

My second char was ment to become a crafter and shop owner. Her name is Tina Tink. She is sure not a mule, also she become famed.

I do have other chars, but they are not yet well known.

My first Character was Cetric. I only have one character with the name, and it is a blue on Great Lakes. I don't even use him anymore except for some misc faction fighting. I've never had the heart to actually remove the char. It is the only tie in with my stratics/icq name etc, and uo. everything else i generally go by other things.

    Strange really..

I should elaborate more on my first UO character Sturm Brightblade.

He was a warrior. ( Right before AoS came out) He was based as the character in the book. A knight based on true honor. I never killed any innocent ( blue players but doesn't mean they are all innocent) player and basically would fight only reds and any blue that would attack me. I would try to help any player out as I could as the code as the Knights of Solmania would.

I lived by the code, "My honor is my life" and even though I did not RP per say, I kept that character, out of all my characters, clostest to the true form I could as he was in the book.
