I cannot, will not even try to relate the number and length of phone calls to support trying to get my 151 month account online again. Until now, it has never been deactivated. The people working support have without fail been polite and responsive, once I have managed to get though to support on the phone. That said....... The reasons I remain addicted to UO are: interactions with friends I have known for years, housing, and the option of living my tidy little in-game life-style where such a variety of activies are available. I have been pushed to the edge this time. Spending countless hours on the phone explaining again and again the problems i am having concerning linking accounts, setting up trial accounts in order to link, attempting to set up again and again the account renewal information, etc., boggles the mind. The last few days I have spent more time on the phone with the support staff than i have spent in game! I wish I had kept an accurate journal of the time involved and how often I have had to give account information and credit card information. How many hours I have spent waiting for someone to fix the problem. I can now access four of five active accounts, am not even going to try on the two non-active accounts. But access to the oldest account is still denied. Is anyone familiar with the term Red-Headed stepchild? Urban Dictionary: red headed stepchild I am not looking for the clouds to part and a chorus of etherial music along with a finger sending lightning to fix the problems, just needed to get this off my chest (as it were).
