I started training inscription this morning. I consolidated the gold I made off troglodytes and lumberjacking to fund the training. Starting in Haven I bought the skill at 40 and took the inscription new player quest to build it up to 50 which went buy real quick just making poison scrolls. Onto luna I went and lucky enough other scribes were training and an abundance of scrolls were available as well as reagents from the Holy mages. So there for a great while I bought scrolls, scribed a bunch of scrolls and sold them back to the Mages and made a good tidy profit after a while. Reaching about 76 or so skill I decided to train by making spell books. I know that when I started I had a 26% chance to succeed. Yes it was kind of early to train on them as far as gains, but I was also looking to get a good collection of slayer books when I would finally be done. Right now I am at 93.2 and after grinding books during that time I noticed a pattern Over 40,000 blank scrolls I got the following 3 orc slayers 3 dragon slayers 3 Tetheran slayers 2 Ophideans 4 Ogre slayers 6 scorpion slayers 3 snake slayers 2 LRC 16 books (highest so far) The other books I donated to New Haven. Now those are the only slayers I crafted out of 40,000 scrolls. Nothing else and definitely no super slayers. It seemed like the RNG was set on a rinse and repeat cycle when it came to slayers. To say the least it was a bit odd.
