Monster Loot Suggestion!

I find myself hunting very high end creatures these days that have the top tier levels of loot. There is a huge disparity between what an imbuer can crank out and what you can enhance.

I know that is most likely intended, but the volume of loot on monsters that is total junk is quite unbalanced I think.

Bumping loot intensity's back up to where they once were would be nice. If I want artifact quality armor, Ill be an imbuer - but I'm not a pvper and I dont require uber armor. But hunting my own armor suits (as I love to do) is a bit of a daunting task.

I shouldn't be seeing "exactly" what I need sitting in a ridiculous mass on vendors for 2-3m gps -that I do not want to spend. I'd rather have "close to" what I need thru enhancing from loot I hunted.

I agree . Human or elf armor pieces from monster loot are completely useless. Some gargoyle pieces could be useful to new players because of the higher base resists.
Its rare to find weapons or jewelry that got intensities above what you could imbue and 5 useful mods on it. Basically i only look for stuff that could give relics or elemental damage weapons.
They would just need to lower the probability for certain mods on weapons, like resists, sc, or mage weapon, and you could get usable stuff sometimes. There is also almost never hitspell or hit area on looted weapons.
If high end monsters would give some some exceptional armor pieces, maybe made out of an special material, loot would be useful again.
