    i carry 2 jewels with 15 chiv and the sign of order +10chiv and luna lance +10 chiv....u can res characters.

    this is what im staying with. ive tried 20 parry/bush and 20 anat/tact w/ gm lj. i didn't like any of those as much as i like this temp.

    just a lil more info for my template.

    i use bladed staffs and double axes, pretty much exclusively.
    80-100% elemental dmg wpns. thats why i dropped chiv for the most part. i never use consecrate arms, divine fury.
    my staffs generally have 5 free mods on them. i have 20 ssi and 95 di on the suit, so i dont want either of those mods on my wpns.
    when i craft my staffs, i stone off my 120 blacksmithy and stone on 65-ish, plus i use a talisman with no exc bonus, but 26 regular bonus. it gives me roughly a 97% chance to make the staff with my dc hammer, and only a 5% exc chance. pretty good odds of not getting the ****ty damage increase mod.
    when i craft my double axes, i do the same thing for the most part. only difference is that i want 20ssi on my axes.
    40ssi at 150 is a decent buffer for spawns for 3.25 base swing speed.

    the biggest downsides to low chiv from what i have seen....
    1. no enemy of one. the only champ this affects is neira. every other champ has a slayer, and with 70 bush u can get honor.
    2. having to swap jewels/shield/wpn on and off in order to res someone. no big deal, just can be annoying depending on ur coffee intake and time of morning.

    as far as 110 resist and not 120....
    when i had 120, the only thing that would mana vamp me would be champs. when i had 110, the only thing that would mana vamp me would be the champs. its super easy to burn thru lvl 3's and 4's that have mage casters with 110. i never get mana vamp'd. so, save the 10 points and sell the 120 resist scroll.

    120 parry, for counter attack ai's. mana free. not all that common, but nice when it happens.

    The only thing i do not get is why 70 bushido/120 parry instead of the other way around.
    Parry chance without shield is the same, but you get all the bushido abilities at 120. With your version, you parry more with a shield, do you run with that shield all the time?

    i dont use a shield at all.
    i keep counter attack toggled on at all times. when i do get a parry, chances are i have an ai toggled too, the counter attack will then go off as an ai. not a regular hit.

    i had 120 bush and 60 parry. i changed it the other way around to see if i could get more counter attacks just having a higher parry. %'s for not getting hit were pretty much equal. no real difference.

    only time i use confidence is after i die, which is kinda rare.
    i hardly ever use evade. didnt wanna work bush back up.

    .....guess i coulda summed all this up with "didnt wanna work bush back up".

    does your template work without the faction gear as well? Could you elaborate what gear, skills you would change if faction gear was not an option?

    It would work without any major changes just get the nonfaction version. Its just a bit trickier with the suit but its mostly resists and a small crimson bonus so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

    skills are pretty much non-reliant on faction gear.
    if u were gonna go non-faction, its basically gonna affect the wpns. u will lose one free mod.
    basic double axe for lvl's 1+2, ssi 20, fire area 50, mana leech, stam leech, 5th mod whatever u want or di if not using faction gear.
    basic double axe for lvl 3+4, ssi 20, area 50, mana leech, stam leech, superslayer
    bladed staff for champ max mana, max stam, slayer, hit spell, hit life

    with the faction gear, u get 95% di. without faction gear, u need to replace a mod on the wpn with di to get to 100ish.

    i really like resisting spells on my sampire. chain mana vamps were the only thing that really killed me working the spawn up. with 110 resist, it doesnt happen anymore during the spawn.
    makes the spawn go a lot faster with no real danger of dying.

    so, like klaupac said, prolly go 120 bush/70 parry.

    my personal take on the faction/non-faction....go faction. makes it a lot easier to get max/almost max mods. im super happy with the setup i have. the only champ that is a lil tough for me is the rikki. if he gets the eq and hit off pretty close, it can be a bit of an annoyance to take him down.
    100% cold bladed staff with either hla or life leech works pretty good. i use life leech. each ai hits for about 140-170 pts of dmg.

    the only champ that this template kind of sucks on is neira. she takes a while to solo due to no slayer and not have eoo from chiv. i dont die fighting her, it just takes a while grinding it. *shrugs*
    if you have another sampire or a disco person or a necro who can corpse skin her, it makes it go a lot faster.
    with the resist you can plow thru the spawn real easy.

    so, to answer ur question directly....without faction gear, craft exc wpns and adjust the di for 100%.

    the reason why i put 20 ssi on the suit is for the free mod for the bladed staff and to have the highest %'s for leeches on the staff too. 72 or 76 mana/life leech rather than the 62 or whatever.
    i dont remember the exact numbers, but its a noticeable difference in game.
