Iv loved the plot and storyline behind every event on every shard thus far and am compiling a data base of every event with stroyline objectives and rewards, but one thing that seems to be on my agenda and many others is the handing out of rewards and the different systems used to do this.

Thus far Atlantic has had the overall best event, 1 week to do it everyone who has a book correctly filled gets an item(they even showed an example of what it should containe) this book given will be worthless as everyone one on atl and most other shards (as people came over and coppied others books) but thats not the point, just having something to remember the event by personally is worth more than the item itself.

One issue was they didn't comprehend the amount of people with books or the time to check them so it kinda made alot of happy people sad, but it was there first attempt grats to them for trying to make it available to everyone.

The best system possible (EVERYONE). All other servers seemed to have a first come first rewarded or first to get loot (both of these don't work as a swordsman cant get near a mob before a greater dragon has 1 shotted it or someones EV kills it etc etc.

Or on another note speed hackers who can recall and run to an npc and say a word before anyone else has even recalled in due to loading graphics gives lag, but they recieve it due to there hack (E.G. the trees appering as stumps)

Overall every event on ever server has been really enjoyable even doing them as a RP char or just created char iv loved them all, the riddle ones are the best as it doesn't require you to be at such a lvl to get looting rights or faster than everyone else getting some were or saying something (i even came 11th on sonoma with a dead toon i just created running every were they asked, were most had runes to the spots).

It is the EM's first shot and hopefully they pick up on the ups and down of events, BUT i think the main issue with everyone is ""i spent 3-4 hours doing this and i got f*&k all and 10 hackers get nice items cos they hack to blah blah blah""

I think things need doing away with as there is a hack cheet for evey situation comprehendable, a better way would be to give EVERYONE an item thats worthless but has a meaning to that person for partisapating

    E.g 100 items 50 different types so ya got a 1 of 5
its still a item for memeebilia but is still rare as only 4 others got it.

Just a nice working sugestion, 5 candles, 5 lanterns, 5 sashes, 5 aprons, 5 axes etc etc
still rare and still an item to be proude of for you hard work and you will look at it and remember the event.

Either that or NO items, then you'll see the real people who wana do it for fun cos they will still be there doing it all the way knowing there gona get nothing and expecting nothing :)
Just somethng new an fun to do

    Discussions please

to many event for me today "rolls eyes in tiredness"

Out of every shard LA was the most mature and grown up shard iv ever seen at an EM event, there was not 1 whisper out of anyone while the EM was telling the story (have screens to compaire every other shards event too)

I laughed. If you honestly think the stump hack is to reduce graphics lag then you are very very badly mistaken. Not only that but most people who speedhack generally don't pay enough attention to know what that "word" is.

Wonders how pet knows this.. Actually I do not wonder, nor do i care i just wish the game would crack down on this B.S. and remove the holes so the neophytes at hacking will have to actually learn how.
