mystic dexer??

    kinda started making a mystic...then long ago left it for a sampire project...

    the char is a garg....with this anat +gm, focus +gm, heal +gm, mace or sword 120,tacts +gm chiv at 70 and mystic raising steady at 80 odd at the mo...

    so the question is..ive got lost.....lol...i have a few other skills stoned...whats my best option for a pvm style mystic?

    is it worth pursuing the old rock form dexer for pvm

    I would drop the healing and use cleansing winds and your stone to stay alive and run 120 mystic, 120 focus, 120 weapon 120 tactics and 120 anatomy and 120 chiv. I have found that throwing is better but if you want to get in close that will probably work. Both your RC and your animate weapon will be very effective and can tank. Use chiv's holy light and your area effect spells to keep things from getting out of hand. Its a fun temp to play to be honest I think I like mysticism at least as much as I like weaving.

    Thanks Mirt time to gt back on track with this build...

    What about armour wise...what kind of build..not god ...but what kind of stats hould i be looking to at least have....any info wil be good

    i guess all 70 resist for starters...hehehee...

    i good leeching disc mace for seconds.....hehheee..

    lrc?? mmm..mana/stamina regen/increase... di..hci.. dci...whats gonna keep me alaive in shame level 5

    Well first thing I would want is 100LRC. You can use regs but lets be honest I can’t think of anyone doing that. I would go as high as you can with stamina to hit fast. I would also say that you’re going to need 110 to 130 hp. I think as a hard and fast rule you’re going to need your mana at over 70 to make things viable (I would shoot for 90 but that can be hard). The reason I am giving these things instead of pure stats is that if your not using healing it’s only your stamina that really matters I find the same with hit points and mana. It’s also critical that you hit 45 HCI and 45 DCI, but that’s pretty standard. If you can add on some SDI I would try to do that but I tend to think more as a dexxer that uses spells to assist with that then a mage so there might be other viable ways to do that. If you’re getting good mana leeching then in shame I would say there is no need for MR and if your weapon has stamina leech you can use a one handed weapon and use pots and your healing stone. Weapons are nice on this temp as with the higher mystics you do not need sc or a hit effect as you can enchant them on. This frees you up to add more things. That way I would say use leeching for your mana and stamina with pots and divine fury for back up. With that its unlikely you will need stamina regen, but that’s determined by your weapons. I have not found HPR to be a big benefit and yet many of my suits have it on them so I guess if you have room put it on. The other key thing is you need to hit 40 LMC. The way I see it is if your crafting the pieces and money is no object that’s going to mean around 18 LRC a piece and 8LMC per piece. That only leaves you three mods and with that stat boots that’s going to take away most of the room to tag on regens. I would go with trying to leech them instead.

    With Mace&Shield you need just 2 res imbue to get all 70 (23 slots left). With Mana Orb you need just 34 LMC (18 slots left). With crimson you need just 15 hpi (i suggest to have just 15 hpi even you haven't crimson) (15 slots left). 100 LRC (10 slots left)
    So you can get enough room for MI/SI, but may be you'll need select will you imbue max MI or SI.

    Something like that:
    8 MI, 7? SI, 5 HPI, 20 LRC, 7-6 lmc - 3 items
    8 MI, 7? SI, 15 res, 20 LRC, 7 lmc - 2 items

    What I had back when I played:
    120 mysticism, focus, fencing, 90 healing, 100 anatomy, 100 tactics, rest in chivalry (with a +13 jewel for something I can't remember to add more chiv).
    My hunting partner had:
    120 mysticism, focus, swords, healing, anatomy, tactics (she liked simplicity)
    Our stats were:
    Barely enough mana to cast rising colossus while cursed, str and dex loaded up.
    Our suits were much like what has already been described here.

    When you're in stone form, you can't be poisoned often and a lot of other curses just get shrugged off as well, so when you use bandages to heal, you heal damage nearly all the time. And with one handed weapons and healing stones/potions, you become even more unkillable. Two melee fighters with stone form can literally kill anything in game without breaking a sweat.

    Alone, there are few things which will stop you, since healing takes a lot longer, but it's still quite powerful (though not as good as a sampire for solo play IMO).
