I'm interested in doing a Necro/Bard template for the Siege Perilous shard. I know there is a Necro/Bard with a magic focus on the Stratics website, but I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a build for a Necro/Bard with a melee focus.

120 Melee Skill (I recommend archery for this to keep things farther away but other melee skills will work)
    120 Tactics
    120 Music
120 Bardic Skill (I recommend prov for this to keep things off of you but disco or peace is okay, just not as helpful if soloing)
    120 Necro
    120 Spirit

Now there are quite a few drawbacks to this template. I don't feel this template would be useful at all in PvP but it will be hard to adjust it since it is using 3 different skill sets. You can add in anat on jewelry but since there is no insurance, this could be expensive. Your jewelry and suit would need to be tailored to help in mana and melee which again could get expensive without insurance.
The Spirit Speak will get you some healing around corpses but can be lacking if there aren't any or they have been tapped already. I think you would be better off to look at a melee bard or a necro bard with magery or another magic based skill for Siege. I think you will find this template very tight and difficult to play on Siege because it will need to very item dependent to really maximize such a broad skill set.

Thanks for the reply Lestat. I ended up going Necro/Bard with magery thrown in for good measure. :)
