    Just PvE.

Well im kinda fresh in UO. My first choice was a tamer/mage but since this game is soooo bugged I was dying a lot, I mean literally A LOT. It frustrated me so much that I've decided to make a new character with totally different playstyle.

So im making an elf necro/fencer now but I have few questions to you.

    Template:

    Skill Cap: 700

    120 fencing (I've read that it's essential)
    100 tactics (special moves/damage)
100 anatomy (for healing and damage purposes)
    100 parrying (some def)
    100 healing (bandages)
100 Spirit Speak (For curse weapon to last longer)
    80 Necromancery (Vamp form)

+ jewellery that would make my necro skill higher.
I want to get a good life and mana leech weapon to keep them both popping for all the time.

    And here are the questions:

    1. What stats should I have to make playing most enjoyable?
    2. Will this template work ? What would you change? I've read something about bushido and sampires but Im not fully conviced by them... Dropping healing does not sound like good idea to me. But as I said, Im fresh and not experienced...
    3. Any advices on items ? I have Knights Armor Set, will that work ?

    Thank you for your time!

    Mike

Healing is fine, but you don't really need it with vamp embrace and some goodish gear. If you don't plan to cast any offensive spells you also don't need SS.

    Might try something like
    120 Fence
    120 Bushido
    100 parry
    100 Tactics
    90 Anat
    90 Heal
    80 Necro

90/90 healing anat is not a noticeable diff between 100/100, though I personally would drop healing, up some skill to 120 or pick up chiv.

Knights armor is probably fine, but you will be able to get better over time that will make things easier, but if you aren't like going after bosses you should be alright.
Get someone to make you a nice leaf blade with at least mana leech and you should be able to kill some pretty tough stuff, and certainly have a good time.

Thank you for you advice Uvtha!

I bought a pretty nice set today - designed for sampires. Also dropped Aegis of Grace and Rune Beetle Carapace on my tamer, might swap if needed.

    Here's what it looks like:

I guess it's not top suit, but it should work, shouldn't it ?

I've also read something about Sampires and took Uvthas advice under consideration. Here's what came to my mind.

    Fencing 120
    Bushido 120
    Tactics 100
    Anatomy 100
    Parrying 100
    Necromancery 100
    Chilvary 60

The problem is I can't find any fencing weapons with stamina and mana leech. Tried by searchuo and finduo and could not find anything that would suit sampire. Only swords... but without scorpion slayer either (i'd like to hunt Miasmas a lot).

I play on Europa, can anyone help me ? Of course I'll pay for the weapon/weapons.

    Thanks!

    Mike

Your best bet for fencing weapons are imbued leaf blades and kamas. Scorpion slayer requires 10 white pearls. If you have a blacksmith or friend I'd recommend just burning a few dull copper hammers making leaf blades. Keep whichever end up with slayers to be imbued with the other properties.
