So the only game iv ever really played is UO. I loved it since i was a kid and i always find my way back to it. I am taking another break from UO and want to look at some other games. I have been looking around and I havent really seen anything that pops out at me. I looked into darkfall and it looks pritty cool. I think its a little to much money for me to just try and then not like it at all. Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me some oppinons on what i should look into.

I am having the same problem. I play against the grain in WOW only because I can do my thing if I am willing to do some of their thing.
I am also toying with LOTR which seems to be the best bang for the dough at the moment.
But there is nothing to compare to what you liked about UO. We closed our acounts after 11 yrs. The fun was gone.
Anyway I always look here hopefully finding a game that offers the fun without the constant slash and bash. But there aren't many of us out there so I don't have a lot of hope that anyone will design something like that.
Imagine a healer getting xp for healing! That would be a good start.

Have to really give some more opinions on what you like? Space? Medieval? Current time era? What Exactly?

What type of computer processor do you have?

If you like PvP combat you could give Lineage II a try. The graphics are phenomenal. You do need a good processor though...

It is about the most grindy game out there though. It is a challenge though...

There is Aion coming out. It is supposed to be pretty good graphics though.
You could try FFXI online, but that game forces you to party.

Lineage II if it is your choice. A party helps but...soloing is doable. Just not wanted unless you want to lose your mind.

Some of the online videos do no justice to the game. Seeing the game in full resolution graphics is awing in my opinion. Most of the videos have the low resolution feature activated.

By the way, I used to play UO as well. It did not keep my captivation to only play that game. There is something more rewarding taking a few months to work on something I like then leveling a skill in a few hours or days.

So what game did you decide on?

There always is that new Aion game too.

If you do not want UO anymore.. Just check AO... Atlantica Online... You will see cool stuff and mounts there that you never been seen on your entire life ^^
