Someone has already tried it? I don't know where to get the void essence for craft it
There's already a thread on this: cryptically entitled "Void Essences"
Try the command "give crystals" while you are at the bank. I believe that puts into your container a set of "spawners" (unique to Retribution and only intended to facilitate testing) to make some rare ingredients, including void essence.
thanks for that info, now I'm a stem near to make the mechanical pets.

BUG: in the enhanced client the gargoyle pet is invisible
How to get the manual:
for get the manual you have to speak with him, and he give you a quest/mini-game to complete in a short time!
the game start when you double click the cloakwork assembly inside your pack (no special skills is needed)
when started the game, over your head say the name of a special ingredient located in the sutek laboratory remains. You have to double-click it in about 30 seconds or you have to resign and restart the quest again.
The items will change every times and the number of items is 20-25 (maybe more)
The quest can be done unlimited times and the reward is the "Mechanical's Life Manual" that allow you to make the new mechanical pets!!!
For build the new pets you have to use the tinker tools an then double click the new cloakwork created for raise the pet.
This creatures are bio-mechanical and can be healed like every pet (not like golems) and do not requires taming.
Between the building of one pet and another there is a cooldown of few minutes.
Here the characteristics of every new pets:
REQUIREMENTS: 100 leather, 3 oil flask
Can be stabled and has the Canine pack instinct.
Special ability: can summon as many wolf as it can while engage a combat (if you have only him, he ca summon up to 4 wolf)
REQUIREMENTS: 100 bronze, 10 gears
Can be stabled and has the Arachnid pack instinct.
Special ability: poisoning
REQUIREMENTS: 50 leather, 25 white dragon scales
Can be stabled.
Special ability: firebreath and has magery!

Does each pet only take 1 slot and can humans make them?
wolf and scorpion takes 1 slot, gargoyle pet take 2 slots. For create the clokwork you need 90 in tinkering, for use the clokwork seems the same golem rules (the major tinkering the best pet you get)
ack... I hate the 2D animal lore gumps... 4 clicks to see all of the pet stats and skills. Bring back the KR style gump.
they have to meke the 1 page gump as default
drat, i was hoping the gargoyle pet could equip weapons at least, where they could use it's specials.
golems were the biiggest disappointed when converted in AOS. pre-AOS golems were nigh invincible to magic, and were actually a really useful pet.
i hope sometime down the road, tinkers can make mechanical horses, pack golems, or get a bonus to crossbows or something.
How do you reach Sutek? I'm blocked by a invisble forcefield on a bridge.

Yup, finaly got it. But then i died at the ratman and i had to use emergency help to get out cause of the "broken" bridge.
Yes Tinkerers should get some loving , especially in SA. First time tinkers really had a shot at spotlight thats been on smiths and tailors for so long.

gargoyle pet is not like a character gargoyle. the sound is the same of a hiryu and I think that they are like a mechanical dragon and cannot equip anything...
