I'd like to see a setting for locked down/secure containers. The person that places the container can select from the menu, "Target the player you wish to give access to this container".

Only the targeted player, and house owner will have access to the container after using this setting.

It would make guild headquarters a little more secure.

    Thoughts?

With multi accounts and house friending. Think a while ago I noticed that a friended character could lock down an item but another friended character from another account could not release it. No problem with co-owners and owner unlocking an item. Not the secure freedom your looking for.

It is a great ideal to get around guild operations from a guild house. Be the top of the list of griefing are players that get into guilds to steal the guild blind after some time. Top that with guild PKing was the reason why I started a seperate crafter guild the hunting guild new to be players from their guild. Got enough of guild drama over decade ago and only myself and a friend RL down the road in my guilds.

Goes the other direction with some guilds just having an inner click and everyone else are just tools to be used. Still can back on the trust factor and characters with a PSC option on the avatar table. Personal Secure Container. A table option to a just you and home owner access setting of a container. A vendor is a kind of container that home owner and target player have some type of control over. Limit each character to one theese PSC and like a vendor house has to stay public while a PSC is in it. Owner still has ability to axe a PSC.

We used to have something like this already actually, strongboxes, they were removed from the game for whatever reason. (granted they were for co-owners, but then co-owner back then was a lot more like friend now)

One thing I would love to see is an ability to share with alliance members.

One other idea to tack onto this:

The option to give each container a "Name". Such as - "Eric's Chest", or "Imbuing Ingredience"..

Do like the idea of specifically targeting players.

This would be a very good addition to the game. It would make a guild house that served as a home to many players truly viable.

Just need the addition of a guild master being able to place a guild house plot. Doesn't count as an account house. Use the trash can point system as a heafty rent system. Talking high rent. Don't want someone like me with 50+ guild characters with 3 players behind them all having easy extra storage. A hard rent point system that counts hunted items and not gold and AFK farmed ingot and wood like items. Only a guild with an active large group could support. Want to reward this tabboo community playstyle by making it a custom 24x24 plot. Really need the points in this case to be really group hunted acquired items. The Stiggy dragon head and the prestine dreadhorn like items could have a better market. Make the thieves giggle like a lumatic when they get a level ten stealable to sell to some guild. Hell add in the virtue system a new sacrifice. Guild only party hunts that sacrifice the hunt to supporting the guild house. The party leader sets prior to area unique hunt (Peerless like) sacrificed. Being no corpse to loot and backpack drops at boss death. Even the champs could have a new alter item to set the champ run to guild house points only. So once turned on there is no PS, SoT or relic drops. Enemy guild could come along prior to level 3 and compete for the points. Fel being higher then Ilsh no doubt. Points for maintaining the guild house could lean mostly to the champs breathing a new unexhaustible life into the group hunting.

Guild house would have level security settings that way containers can be set to be used by guild members rank. All guild houses would auto friended to guild members. There would be the friending and co-owning members based off their trust/rank earned. And the highest being owner/guildmaster setting of security. Using guild ranking to container security setting would allow the demoting of a member do to whatever reasons to limit the access without having to boot a member.

Maybe I should keep my ideals from being discussed by limiting to one liner post counts.

I hate typing so no I do not wish to chime in, Ahh better. And saved 30 minutes time over the above blurr.
