Saturday night, March 8th the PGoH (Purple Guardians of Honor) held a jousting tournament, at the PGoH Jousting Arena in Trammel, that was open to anyone whom had the 10,000 gold entry fee. The rules were simple the mounts had to be standard horses, only GM crafted non-runic or NPC purchased armor, No jewelry or amulets, and all contestants must wear a helmet and carry a shield.

Points were scored by dismounting your opponent and each match was the best two out of three runs. (Though in one case both knights dismounted each other and a fourth run was required.)

    The first round:
    [IMG] [IMG]
Marcus Valgus verses Thor – Marcus won this quickly with two dismounts in a row

Veese verses Lord Lazarus – This match was called after an unfortunate death (Turns out that Veese lacked training in tactics training and could not do the dismount)

    [IMG] [IMG]
Kate Hawkings verses Catlord – This match went four runs after the third being a tie with Kate pulling out the victory

Obake verses Tyr W. Antilles – Obake won this one taking two out of the three runs

    The second round:
Marcus Valgus verses Kate hawkings – Marcus once again won this with two dismounts in a row

    The Championship Round:
Marcus Valgus verses Obake – Marcus road to victory and the grand prize by taking two out of the three runs

Here is the final standing as released by the PGoH:
    First place Obake of GRI
Second place Marcus Valgos of DB4/Byz
Third place Tyr W Antilles of PGoH

Thom Emperor of the PGoH stated that they have plans on running another jousting event next month for those who may wish to watch or take part in it.
