Saturday evening the 11th of June the second event of Summerfest 2011 took place at the Catskills Fairgrounds. The competition was an archery contest that had 25 entrants in the first round. Each archer was given 5 shots to try to meet or beat a number of points chosen by EM Barnaby to advance to the next round. If an archer took more than 5 shots he/she was disqualified from the competition. In cases of a tie in a round, that affected advancement, the scores from previous rounds were averaged out and the higher score advanced.
The final and championship round decided the winner by taking the scores from all the previous rounds, adding the score from the final round, and averaging them out. Had there been a tie there would have been a best 2 out of 3 shootout.
Both EM Barnaby and EM Adris were there for this contest of skills to monitor the archery buttes and keep score. EM Barnaby ran and kept this event organized calling the bowmen up in groups of 4 at a time. Each group would shoot then wait on the EMs to tally their scores before returning to their seats.

In 4th place with a final average of 243 was Granny, In 3rd place with a final average of 283 was Samantha, In 2nd place with a final average of 287 was Low-G
The winner with a final average of 320 was Nexus
The next Summerfest event will be the Foot Race this evening (Sunday, June 12th) at 7:30 EST. So bring your running shoes!
