Oh yes, another Sampire thread.

I really am not getting the answers through Search (that and I am too lazy to sift through lots of threads) so I will ask them here.

    My template will be:
    Swords 120
    Bushido 120
    Parrying 120
    Necromancy 99
    Tactics 100
    Chivalry 60

This leaves 91 spare skill points (710 max): should I put them in anatomy? Or Resist Spells, or any other suggestions? Or should I make tactics 120 and chivalry higher?

Another question, will this Sampire be viable for doom, peerless, and champ spawns (certain ones like the rat spawn) or would I need multiple different sampires.

I have a jackals collar and mace and shield glasses, both those are good for sampires. What other pieces of armor would you suggest.

As for a weapon I know what to look for but I cannot wait till Imbuing comes out.

I would just lower chiv by 9 and put 100 in anatomy for the bonus. Chiv can work well with 51 just enemy of one need to be spammed but ondce you have it thats all.

Works for all sometimes swaping anatomy for ressit for doom. That blood oath from dark father is a killer without it.

Will Divine Fury work 100% with 51 Chiv? Or should I not be needing to use Divine Fury (the -10% DC seems pretty bad)

Also the switching Anatomy for Resisting Spells seems like a good idea to me, I will definitely do that.

    Anyone else with suggestions?

Consecrate Weapon doesn't even work 100% with 60 chiv, so not even close. And it's -20% DCI.

Def not worth it then lol, is chiv even worth the enemy of one?

    55 Chiv is good enough.
Fizzle with EoO, but usually manage to cast it pretty easy. Same for Devines Fury and Consec.

Put in Anatomy, since you rely on the mounts of damage you do to actually leech...

But I guess when it comes down to it, you need to choose whatever skill you´re comfortable with =)

    bad idea.
Maybe you can go with 55, but you will fail a lot. Chiv is more than consecrate, i currently have 62 and go with a brazalet +12 chiv, so it's 74, and i fail 3 consecutives EoO LOTS of times, you can deal with it, but it's exasperating. And what about all that nasty revenants thats most doomers spam on you? I fail the dispel sometimes, with 55 it must be a pain.
And the fury: fury drops your defence, but if you are running very low of stamina and your weapon dont leeches a lot of st, you will need it, it's better to lose your defence for a while if you can keep kicking asses, that mantain your def not being able to hit fast enough, you are a sampire, your primary healing method is hit and kill, hit, hit and hit more! If you dont land enough blows then you are on your way to the grove for sure.

Besides that, if you can go with 65 DCI (not so difficult), you can overcome totally your DCI loss (you have 45 but it overcomes), and be at full ST again kicking back with fury.

And, about anatomy-resisting, i had no tried doom with resis, waiting to get my second soulstone to swap fast, but i am always looking my debuffs, oath is terminal if you dont realize and retreat fast, i suppose Resisting is unvaluable here.

    Regards.

Because if you have 100 anat and tactics and maxed DI, you're going to just about kill yourself in one hit. :/

Of course having chiv at higher level makes things more convenient. But I stick with 51 is doable. But really it's how you play it do you rely on concrete more than lightning strike do you plan to use divine fury instead of potions or having max swing increase. Do you have room to add +skill jewelry. So it all depends on how you gonna play it. There are many ways to play the exact same template increase weakness where you see it. Find your nack.

The thing about blood oath is that with a demon slayer crossbow, you hit the Dark Father for 300 damage on a regular basis.

This means that if he blood oaths you at the wrong time and you don't have time to eat an apple... or if he blood oaths you two attacks in a row (it happens more than I'd like), then you can kill yourself easily in one shot if you don't have high resist.

I die at least once, and usually more to every Dark Father I fight to these phenomenons, and I have apples and chivalry remove curses to deal with it.

I still won't put resist on my template, but that's my problem.
