OK can we please get a manual?

    Is there an online manual somewhere for all the new changes for the EC client? most of this stuff i have no idea what it is or does and it doesnt tell ya when ya mouse over it, for example what the heck is a mobile?

    Just play around with it and it soon will become clear. I LOVE the mobile bars. They are basically Heath bars of all nearby chars for easy access. I enable red, blue, grey on my layout.

    Mobiles are anything that moves; what appears when you press CTRL-SHIFT. You have this in the default EC too, the Pinco mod which is now the default EC just allows more control over what displays, how and when.

    This will also cause more lag, Some features will not work correctly or will randomly work. Just like in Pincho's. His response back then was to use another one of his special tools to clear your characters folder or something like that. Now Dont get me wrong I was hoping that when he was brought on and actually being paid for this his coding would have been a bit more robust. Seems broadsword doesnt care.
    So I am switching back to the Clasic client.

    Not "will" cause more lag. It DOES cause more lag. When your UI is running 250 different scripts (above your basic display) to locate and show information from the server side to the client side, it DOES slow you down. Usually you get memory bleeds also.

    If/When I get time, I'd love dig into PINCO's brilliance (and it really is brilliant what hes done) and streamline it. I'm more concerned with client speed then seeing second by second detail on every little flash of light on our screens. It would be incredible if a streamline version was available but I'd never expect it to happen because it pretty much goes against the very reason of the EC's existence, which is a shame.

    I'll be playing the CC as well.

    EDIT: I'm glad he was finally paid for his years of hard work that literally kept players from quitting and brought in new players. His work is responsible for more of our player base then any ad campaign UO has run in 17yrs.

    This morning I am reading and NOT digesting all the new changes listed in the patch. Are we still playing UO or is this a totally new game now?
