Don't have monsters that suck you to their location spawn in a spot you can't get to normally

I agree if you are going to make monsters teleport then by gods make sure that they don't EVER spawn in locations we can't go or escape from without help/stuck.
Your hopes are far too high. They turned on a high seas quest and some anniversary rewards and broke character transfers ( those are so obviously related). After 16 years they still haven't figured out how to keep mobs from spawning on unreachable tiles and you think they can stop those mobs from teleporting you there as well?
Forget the bug the bigger problem here are those graphics. Terrible.
the slasher will do that to you if you fight him off the east end where he spawns. he will teleport up on the square garden bed ledge to kill a hell hound and promptly teleport you up there and kill u too.
The Boss on the ship does the same thing except you get pulled into the barrels.
