    Hello Siege,

During the last act (ACT VI) of "The Awakening Story Arch" players were able to complete a puzzle quest that returned one of 4 rewards (see event link for info below). This was not an easy task, it took allot of dedicated time for what seemed to be rewards just not worth working for... that is all but one. And that one item drove those few to put in insane hours... all for a chance at the "Bracers of Alchemical Devastation"

The Museum will trade or pay INCREDIBILITY well for this item (as I'm certain many others will). What more important to me is simply locating them. Does the owner know what he/she holds? Do they know that in an instant the Siege Perilous Museum could make them RICH beyond their wildest UO dreams?! hehe

On a more serious note, its items like this that have a way of vanishing forever on Siege (like "The Boots of the Champion" .. lost). It's the Museum's primary objective to preserve our history so that everyone has a place to enjoy items that remind them of good times throughout our unique history.

Please ask around, ask your neighbors, your friends, your guildmates .. and even your enemies (after of course you relieve them of their shoes). Let's all work together to find the bracers.. and while your at it, if any of the other items turn up please let me know as I'll buy ANY of the items from this event.

Good luck and thanks for your help Siege!

Only 1 of these exists on Siege Perilous:

The efforts of players shard-wide were tracked ... As you can see on the chart below, the 4 items are in very short supply on siege. You'll also notice the bracers are equally as rare on the other participating shards.

    Hygieia's Amulet
3 of these exist on Siege Perilous (Museum is trading/paying very well for one of these):

Congrats on the Amulet Ginsu! Thanks for the post.. Nice to know someone who worked the event.

I appreciate and understand you holding onto that item.. took allot of hard work! I am however forced to ask that if your ever looking for a specific item, one that you would be willing to trade the amulet for ... you know how to contact me. =)

    Thanks Ginsu.

I would like to thank those who were able to assist the museum in locating a few of these items.

I'm still looking for an Amulet and of course the bracers. Any help in locating these items or providing info as to who may own them is appreciated.

Of course the museum is paying / trading extremely well!

    Thanks!

The whereabouts of the Bracers is one of the great unsolved mysteries of modern times (okay, so several billion people may take issue with that statement). After the results came out I think we identified all but one or two of the characters that took part and none had won the top prize. Therefore the only reasonable conclusion I can come to is that the winner is either:

    a) A loner type who doesn't read/post on the forums.
    b) A Japanese/Oriental player.
    c) Someone who doesn't want to admit having the Bracers as they may feel they would be pressured into trading them to you.

Of the above I think that (b) may be the most likely. Although most of the Japanese players appear to have left the shard, they do still exist. It was not too long ago that a guildmate just embarking upon the fishing quests had an encounter with a hitherto and subsequently unknown Oriental player. He/she had been delighted to have just won a 120 fishing scroll and gave my guildmate a 110 for free.

Japanese/Oriental players are more common on Siege Perilous then people think! ;) I have met and became friends with several since my return to UO. When I am not playing Siege Perilous, I take a vacation onto Mugen to goof around...

I wonder if players on Mugen ever say, "I met this American girl the other day and she handed me a Holiday Gift for no reason at all..."

    Haha!

    :mylittlepony: Thanks!
