*installs level 1 Spanish*
I heard all of the Rosetta Stone programs are actually very useful as well as helpful! Good Luck!!
Rosetta stone is very helpful. I got to the point where I could understand what was being said, and understand what I read. I didn't do as well with speaking, however. I think that's just a personal problem though.
Anyway, I think it's a good program. I wish I was dedicated enough to stick with it. That's the real key!
Over half of my kitchen staff speaks Spanish and very little English. I will have plenty of opportunities to practice.
I downloaded a hacked version with all the language packs. I started on the Latin Spanish a while back, but haven't touched it in a week.
I like it, just don't see to have time between sleep, food, and UO.
Shame on you! I did the first couple of lessons... I think repetition and staying the course will be key. It is kinda fun. If I get bilingual there will be a serious raise...
Not to mention knowing what people are saying about you at Walmart, Target, Burger King, McDonalds, Wendy's, etc....
es muy bueno
Я не могу говорить по-испански очень хорошо.
>.< Stop that!
ACK! That looks like a name of some freako that keeps adding me to ICQ 50 times a day!
Rosetta is what the military uses for their linguistic classes, once the people pass the computer version they are paired with a fluent speaker for their next phase.
Without using a translator, just using old memory from my school days:
Я = me / iam
не = not
могу = that word i dont know
говорить = speak / speaking
по-испански = spanish
очень = very
хорошо = good
whew! I thougfht I had been called something VERY bad lol!
yeh I was tryin to say, in Russian, that...
'I do not speak spanish very good.
"Nyet ! "
Course ya may need the cryllic to type it properly though.
'No' in Russian
Had a penpal from Kiev for several yrs. tho. once, till he tried to turn me into a comrade.
'NO' seemed the best first appropo word for me to learn, to say, in Russian or any other language one may need to learn the word, NO ! !
Although I did learn how to do/deco tons of artistic Ukranian Easter Eggs, quite beautifully from him.
As for Spanish I learned just enough Spanish to get me into trouble in Spain in 1970....they thought I was almost *fluent* in Spanish so the folks in Spain started babbling to me really really fast.....then, all I could then do was mumble like a dork, 'no habla' ! lol
cocine más rápido
friegue los platos
I have about 5 different freakos doing this...its annoying
LOL aye i feel ya girl!!
Rosetta I have heard is astounding, never used it myself though.
Now your gonna have to sit through hours of hispanic soap operas to get the full imirsive experience.
I plan on it, actually.
