Who else has read this thing in its entirety? In my younger days I'd read books 1 through 5, and thought it was a great series. I recently had the misfortune of deciding that I should read the rest of the series. From Faith of the Fallen on, it's like communists kicked Terry Goodkind's puppy after telling him to go make them a sandwich. In my opinion, it stopped being a story and started being Goodkind's ranting newsletter. The characters would give the same speeches, over and over and over and over again, while hollow shells of characters set up perfect opportunities to hear the speeches over and over and over again. Are the earlier books just colored by the fact that I read them in my youth, and apparently had a much higher tolerance for BS? Or did anybody else notice a drastic change in the 'tone' of the series?
