Irk killed me while I was collecting keys for the Dread Horn, usually in these situations after being killed by a high end monster I would get resources I need from my house and fight my way back until I get close enough to my corpse where then I honor myself and then go grab my stuff, but this can sometimes be time consuming.

However, this time instead, after being killed I quickly collected some residue at a champ spawn then used monster form to get me all the way through the Twisted Weald to my corpse with no problem. (then somehow Irk ended at the otherside of the walls where the enterence to the Twisted Weald is, I was like what the hell?, So I had to go all the way back to the champ spawn area of the Twisted Weald to kill Irk).

Anyway, I guess my point is, if you keep your thinking caps on, you might come across opportunities or think of ideas where you can find monster form useful.

Before this event ends, I also plan to use monster form to mark runes smack in the middle of extreamly high spawn/dangerous places. I like to lock these kinds of runes down in my house, lol to anyone who is curious enough to recall off them.

It is an excellent scouting too. Another thing you can do is safely scout for greaters to tame.

I have rune books full of "death runes", the best of which I have on display in my house for public use. I usually mark them using ethereal voyage.

The Absolute best use I've found ,or rather a guild mate thought of and tried to test but couldn't, I taming of dangerous monsters.

I'm not a great tamer I have peacing at almost 100 and 85.5 taming and 115 lore natural and my jewelry gives me 115 taming and about 113 peacing.

Monster form allowed me to tame a greater dragon which I couldn't do on my own and scout them out.

Long story short I got a 4.4 rated Greater Dragon opposed to my current one that was 2.4 on the PPC I just learned about like yesterday.

if my tamer were elf I'd go and look for a better Cu Sidhe, but anyone who knows me knows I dislike elves for the most part.

LMAO... Cu's are not aggressive? I got bit on the tail-end every time when I first started taming them (lead tame... because who para tames something they want to use in battle?). Do you not aggro them? I'm 120 taming and they always get irked several times before accepting a tame and that bleed attack of theirs will ghost you if you are not careful.

ive got it down, you gotta make a one button tame last target macro.. you then lore the dog and then it will be last target..
then you hit the button and walk slowly infront of it.. once you start to tame, walk 4 steps infront of it and cast invis.. you will then hide directly on the dog and not get bit.

i do it all day long.

I'm filling my house with minotaur arties for the strongbox quest in Heartwood... Having no stealther this is a true boon.

I've got a stealther but usually send him in naked as he is guaranteed to get revealed in there. Thanks for the tip!

ethereal voyage doesn't work on the irk or channellings.

Careful with the stairs and pyre, though! You'll get revealed if you take even a single point of damage, and both are likely candidates for damaging.

I know about Pyre and the stairs. And I have a new found hatred of searing, scorching, flaming and all other kinds of burny gargoyles from this quest.

hen, I'd pay good money to hear you say "burny gargoyles" three times fast.
