Patching - Is this normal?

    I don't see a thread that addresses this issue and I'm curious if it's normal. My initial patch went through just fine but now, every time I log on to UO, it does a "determine patch set" each time. Though it isn't a real lengthy process, it takes a bit for it to check the 390 files. Is this what it will do each time or do I need to fix something? Thank you, in advance, for any answers about this. *curtsy*

    yes, starting with UO.exe will launch the patcher.
    If you're already patched, start by CLIENT.exe instead, to avoid the scan
    If starting with UOA, and fully patched, click the X to close the patcher

    Thank you for the info. The posts I was reading dealt more with UOAssist which wasn't the case with me. I will try it using the client.exe file instead in hopes that it fixes the problem. Much appreciated.
