Okay, although I found this somewhat funny, I'm also curious about it.

Wandering around on Atlantic over the two years I've played, I've seen some names that some may find funny, but others could possibly find borderline offensive. Obviously won't name any... These have appeared on both pets and players.

And yet, I go to engrave a metal box "Assassin Armor Set" and I get "#$$*$$in Armor Set".

Could someone *please* explain to me why people can get away with borderline offensive names on both pets and their characters, and yet you get filtered when you go to engrave something with a simple word, just because it has a fairly commonly used 'swear' in it.

I mean, it's kinda hard to organize my armor sets if I can't label it what it is. :D

P.S. I quote 'swear' only because I hear it and see it so much, it's just another word to me...

I think there's a filter toggle in the Options menu that will get rid of the censors. I'm not 100% sure on that though.

But your point is right... it's silly. There should probably be some sort of "smart censor" that will recognize words like assassin and cutlass. :)

Finding all the item names that are legitimate and making an 'Ignore' list to be applied to all the filters (Server & Client side) seems like the easiest fix for this. If that's possible, of course, with the code.

I have seen this mentioned more than a couple of times lately, and it would be a great little fix to see in an upcoming publish! :)

Try engraving a container for "Pampas Grass". Or "Seeds from Titan".

It's not the client options obscenity filter, I do not have it activated. It's the server itself.
