Several Friends and I had an argument as to where the riff in certain music videos came from....

The Symphony riff that several bands (and artist) has used in their songs...

The piece of music I'm speaking of is:
    The Verve - "Bittersweet Symphony"
    Jason Derulo - "Ridin' Solo"
    David May - "Superstar"
    etc
    etc

Lot's of artists has used this Symphony riff... Does anyone know where it originated from?

    Thanks in advanced...

Thanks... but that isn't the same riff I'm speaking of... but I understand what you are saying. The piece of music is probably some Classical music that everybody is using. I just which I could find out where it came from.
