    Thanks for the heads up, Cal...

    Could you give us a hint of what "updating the items" means? Does it mean we're just getting an intensity boost or will we get some chest themes or special items in chests?

    In the previous Producer's Update there was talk about a "major overhaul". I'm sure there's not a lot of time or manpower to rework every aspect of it, but just an intensity boost would be a bit of a bummer after a statement like that...

    And regarding the little challenge Logrus is putting together, sounds interresting enough...

    I'm pretty excited about this, and am really hoping for special items including awesome ones like Tangle or Tinker Legs. My kid will LOVE doing treasure chests (I'm a 12 year vet and he's a newb). I fondly remember back in the day when my t-hunter was instrumental in acquiring the items I needed for PvP.

    Oh no, you're going to make it more fun/rewarding for the Telekinesis hunters, and worse for the True Treasure Hunter templates aren't ya?

    Hopefully, they'll disallow people dragging off the spawn to loot the chest. That one annoys me more than using Telekinesis to pop the trap.

    Would like to know if the developers will tag along Message In A Bottle chests from fishing too in the update...

    Guess we'll have to wait and see rolleyes:

    Maybe they will make a lockpicking mini-game with a special title under your name saying "Completed x lockpicking minigames" :D

    I have been long hopeing that they would just update the loot table in them... its nice to get the regs and all but the whole chest is nothing but junk 99.9% of the time. Dont get me wrong the junk goes to my imbuer for discombuberation and thats fine. Though I would love to have them add more better items. Ingredients for imbuing, the big gems perhaps too, a good mix for the upper chests lvl 5-6. How about adding the seahorse and anchor to the green bag as well.
    Just dont make the bloody things impossible to do, I do them alone as its hell to get anyone on to help(no i dont drag off the critters - they are the fun part of the maps!!). Just tell Logrus go easy on that spice he is gunna toss in. If there is one thing I know about you Dev, You go over board when you get the devilish thread going in your creating.

    As for you pureists there is nada wrong with Tele the chests! I have both the old ways as on Siege, and the Mage/Thunter. With the templates being so tight on the points My t hunters are spred thin as it is on skill points to cover their tails well enough to hunt. (like I said I hunt alone, not because I can/like to but because I have to. No one to play with makes it hard to group for a t hunt thats all junk.)

    Telekinesis is a valid skill if one wants to use there points for magery then so be it. God cant please anyone here can we?

    I don't mind telekinesis at all really, my lockpicker uses it all the time. However, people shouldn't be able to lure and ditch chest spawn. Chest spawn should teleport back to the chest area, and items should be undraggable until the currently spawned guardians are taken care of.

    Telekinesis is fine.
