    hello everyone will!
    I did some testing with the new publish, I decided to wait it is available in shards .
    Because one thing is t o test the TC1, another thing is to apply these changes in shards currents, where a change of style; demand months o f training.

    And finally I used the mod re-forge, and not used umbuir to get an idea of the final result.
    My conclusion is, I do not see any advantage in this new mode, if on one hand it can +1% in two resistances, lost -2% in total.
    or my mathematics is wrong or someone to be kidding me. :devil: I think the refinement as it is not in any way be used by me , also want to say that I have not come on my shard the last two items: the solvent and galvanizing with any NPC yet. :sad3:

    Really? Not hard to understand if you would of put some effort into it.


    I was in a party earlier today with 2 Spanish players, 1 Italian player, 2 English( 1 is me) and 1 French player. Only person I couldn't understand in party chat was the french player but luckily one of the Spanish guys could and translated for me.

    My char ninja is one "red", sometimes happens to be surprised, and I can not do the invocation.

    Hello everybody!

    I’ve made a few tests with the new publish, and I decided to wait for it until it’s officially available on the shards, since make tests on TC1 is one thing, applying these changes in the current shards is another, because there would be a change in style, taking months of training.

    +1% poison
    +1% fire
    -2% total defense. I used re-forge to find out how the final product would look (see the picture)
    Based on that, I can conclude that there is no advantage in using this new mod, since I was able to get +1% in two resistances, but lost 2% in total resistance.
    Either my math is wrong or someone must be kidding me. There is no way I’ll be using the refining the way it is.

    I also want to say that I couldn’t find anywhere the “solvente” and the “galvanizador” with any NPC yet, and I still have to use those new reagents, like the leather braid in Occlu.

    About the modifications into the gargoyles, the damage reduction in the throwing weapons , hit chance reduction and defense chance increase from 50 to 45 makes me wonder if it’s still worthy to have a throwing character walking around.

    About the archeries, my opinion is that there was a great improvement, while with the mages, I couldn’t see any difference.

    I also made a few tests with melee weapons and I could notice a great improvement as well, I would like to congratulate the development team for those adjustments.

    I also feel insecure about the ninja animal interruption, since it’s not clear how it’s possible to interrupt the summoning. As far as I know, you can do this without any addition changes, just attack the ninja and the summoning is aborted. Personally, I have serious doubts if this change is gonna be useful, I actually think we’re gonna have one more useless skill, but let’s wait and see.

    With changes that are occurring since the last year, I was able to see more blues in Felucca, and more blues facing the reds in the same level. This is great for me, because I can see a new picture being drawn in Felluca. I also don’t understand why so many reds stopped playing, maybe it’s because they don’t have an easy prey to attack anymore? I’m also seeing tamers with their animals into Felluca’s spawns, something I haven’t seen in a long time.

    1) I read and understood your original post but HEY I guess I'm just one of those guys that make certain assumptions about people. If your walking down the street and a random stranger shouts at the top of his lungs "The sky !!! Look at the SKY !" I'm going to look up expecting some amazing revelation & when I simply see a Blue sky with nothing exciting I'll get annoyed that someone felt the need to point out the obvious..... *sarcasm* YEAH your right buddy, that is INDEED the sky up there LoL....

    2) I was giving you the benefit of the doubt mpossi. I was assuming that the complete lack of any mind blowing or even moderately useful insights into publish 81 was a result of a language barrier.
    I guess it's not.

    3) I'm actually not trying to rip your head off heh. You just felt the need to direct a POST at me flipping me some ____. I WAS content to leave you to your testing BUT...

    Anyway... It's not really about saying something like "I don't plan on using refinements.." It's more about explaining the reasoning behind such statements.

    The reason you are -2% defense cap (43%) is because the gloves in your picture have +1 Cold & +1 Poison (2 modifications) resistance caps (71/71)
    You lose -1% Defense for Each +1% resistance increase.

    +1 & -1 each way new hard-caps:

    75/75/75/75/75-(80 elf) with cap defense 20% (you need to have enough resistances on your items to bring you up to your resist caps)
    or
    65/65/65/65/65-(70 elf) with cap defense 70% (You still need to have the DCI on your items to bring you up to DCI cap)
