Question about scripting(or other) calls to GMs

Say you find a scripter gold, miner, lumber or anything else that is clearly visable. You make the call and target the guy.

If you log off will they still get the call and do somethign about it?

I'd just like to know if I have to sit there and watch forever because Normal response time is over an hr prolly.

    Thanks

  2. I had some ***hole who decided it would be fun to script gate at my house, on the exact spot that I marked runes for people to come to my vendors.

I paged a GM, waited for over 4 and a half hours, the guy disappeared and then I got a message that my petition was received.

I can't say whether or not something would have been done if I logged out. But to have to babysit a situation like this, cutting into my game time, is really not fun at all.
