Question about thief defense with enhanced client

So..... I currently run 2d client and as thief defense have always stacked items above containers to keep the thief from easily getting into my valuables. BUT with the enhanced client, aren't all packs tiled, with the items separated? Does this nullify my method to prevent thiefs getting in my pack?

    Thanks! :)

there is no defense against thieves!!! heresy!!!

I have heard that with the items all boxed, that it is more difficult, but w/o having played it, could not say.

depends on whether or not the thief is running 2d or not. if they are in 3d, yeah, they can just as easily steal from your because everything is tiled. in 2d, it still kind of works, but there are still ways to cycle some items up to the top (just have to be a fast mouser lol). anyways, if you have something and a thief wants it, there isnt any surefire defense. even as a last resort a thief might just kamakazi you with some shuriken a couple times inside GZ and have friends there to loot your box o goodies. buy ya, stacking still kind of works vs 2ders, but isnt foolroof.
