I have 10 points to spare which is the most beneficial option out of taking:

    Healing 90>100
Chivalry 90>100 (Tried. Couldn't tell the difference but may be missing something.)
    or
Bushido 60>70 (Would this make any difference to Perfection steps? It's basically just there to reach the 300 points atm.)

I feel like I've sort of eliminated Chivalry and Bushido just writing this, but there may be things I've not thought of. Healing looks like the only really useful place, but I would prefer it to go towards offense if it'll make a difference somewhere. (Tactics and Anatomy are already 120.)

I am pretty sure the amount of perfection gained per hit is scaled by bush, so you'd build faster. Probably take 1 less hit to achieve perfection, but it might be pretty hard to notice it without really paying attention. It might be something like your 4th hit does 1 more damage than it used to. I guess you'd also parry 1 more hit in 20 or something like that.

Chiv would probably make your EoO give you 2 or 3% more damage, but this probably all goes away in rounding error and you might only notice it in some very specific combinations of your weapon and the targets armor value. I guess it would also make your divine fury 1 HCI, 1 DI and 1 less minus DCI more effective.

Healing you'd probably heal 2 or more points per bandage or something like that. Your fingers might slip less often, by 1 more damage or something. Since you never get told how much you heal, not like magery or chiv anyway, that'd be really hard to notice too.

It is 2 hits difference if you never miss: 6*17 or 7*15.
If you miss sometimes then there will be more difference. Depending on HC there is possible situation when you are not able to reach perfection with 60 bushido but you are able to do it with 70 bushido.

    9% difference: 55 @90 vs 64 @100.
More important your ability to cure high-level poison.

Also increased chance to cure and heal with the same bandages and increased chance to cure high level poison.

A 9% damage should be noticeable if you track your damage output with AIs then. In theory then, it means only having to hit a peerless 92 times instead of 100... meaning you kill it about 10 seconds faster. :) I definitely noticed it when I started wearing jewelry to take me from 90 to 120 Chiv and using super slayers/ no slayer.

Also using enhanced bandages would give you +10 healing (if you're not already using them and calculated the +10 in ur 90.

Thanks. Follow up question, using it JUST for Perfection and based only on normal hits which gives better damage 100 Bushido or 100 LJ?

I really want to use LJ, and should take into account that it's damage is on every hit, where as Bushido would only be boosting damage if I get Honor, or if I'm using Whirlwind.

LJ increases your damage by about 10% when you use an axe.
Honor increases your damage by about 65% when you 1) use EOO for 82% bonus 2) use normal hits 3) haven't slayer 4) honored your target 5) got perfection

p.s. It seems I got 94 damage hit (150 to 56), then 18 damage (poison?) , then STR-buf expired (I lost 13 HP and max HP)...

Think this was meant for other thread but not to worry. I can't really tell at that resolution (or maybe my eyes just aren't accustomed to the EC) could you not have used Confidence or SS to heal through the Poison? I'm assuming it was a high level so ticks further apart.

I didn't realise it was hitting you that hard. From the video yesterday it looked like you were getting hit for 10-30 but that may have been spells or Poison ticks. Is the fight better or worse with Feint? I'd give it a go myself but the only character I've got that I'm not in the middle of rebuilding is a Throwing Wammy, which I think would make the fight a little one sided.

Anyway good stuff, I like that you try out different things, not many do.

In regards to the topic of this thread I have acquired the item I needed to have 100 points in the last skill and have decided to go with LJ.

The character is going to be using Ninjitsu and Healing and spamming Focus Attack the majority of the time for 100 in all Hit properties so consistent high damage on normal hits is the goal. Using a Double Axe for Double Strike/Whirlwind where suitable.

this is a conformation (that I unfortunately got last night) for:
I record with 2x compressing... and youtube makes additional transformation because it doesn't like my width-to-height ratio. As a result those red numbers are very difficult to read.

Confidence uses standard FCR mechanism so I could cast it instead of Cleanse By Fire. With 80 bushido it doesn't heal enough to there is a sense to do it (it heals less than poison does damage per tick).
I don't know about SS but I think it need to be channeled... so there is a sense to do it as well.

    Oh I see, thanks.

If there isn't a corpse nearby it will just use your mana instead. Don't know about the levels but between the two of them would probably keep you alive long enough for Poison to wear off.

I just checked: 78 SS heals 22 hp every 6 second... and sometimes it fizzle.

Exquisite and Vampire would give 100 elem + hit something. I believe 100% elem is done with shadow hammers.

Hmm, then that means I'm just very good at hiding it. I think I make errors fairly regularly... much as I try not to.
