Although my accounts have been active throughout, real life has been such that I have only just returned with any consistency.

I only spent roughly 80k on Magincia lottery tickets for the two shards I play regularly, Europa & Siege. Offering up the glass-half-full perspective, I could safely say that not winning saves me the aggravation of moving.

I was, however, deeply saddened to discover the rebuilding Magincia event has destroyed and deleted one of Europa's unique Seer made buildings. Rilla's Gypsy Wagon once located in Magincia, Felucca.

Gypsy Fortune & A Rare Opportunity!

    Gypsy Fortune or Misfortune?

It's just adding insult to injury that Draconi himself actually restored the building to us after the rubbling of Magincia. I'm truly sorry I wasn't around early enough to speak up for Rilla Takhista's gift to Europa. Sosaria was a different world then, and people were emotionally invested. Now it's about stuff and resale value.

I wish I still had the screenies to share with you - hard disk croaked on me and well, a whole bunch of my UO history is gone.

Any other shards lose any unique features or buildings in the rebuilding Magincia event?

Aye, you're not the only one who's upset over Rilla's house. I was there when it was opened. Rilla used to be around Spiritwood a lot when I was there so we all got to visit when she moved in. A former guildie won the contest to design the garden for her. Lot of memories lost there :(

I doubt I have any screenshots of the house either, I was a bit of a noob at that time.

    Meh...

Though 'Glow was never one of my usual haunts, I remember well Moonglow's seer made beer garden, too.

Rilla's was the place I first felt real Sosarian magic and attended my first Seer events.

While my hard disk pics are gone, my photobucket had a couple of Rilla Takhista's House. Soppy ole mare that I am, I welled up when I found it.

At the same time I was speaking with Draconi about our unique seer building in Magincia, Felucca, I remember another couple shards posting about their own historical buildings which were also affected. I can only hope their shard histories were preserved with more care than ours on Europa.
