Ok.... I'm looking for input on this one. For those of you that know more about it than I do what's the best way to make a throwing weapon with 100% Hit Fire Damage & 40% Hit Velocity.... So far the only way I've acheived this is with the following...

    1) Dull Copper Runic --> Inspired (Exquisite / of Quality) Hope for 60% Fire Damage / 40% physical & only 1 Mod or Self Repair (SR goes away when you imbue)

    2) Reforge using a shadow Runic...
Inspired --> Inspired (Exquisite / of Quality) & hope for 40% Velocity to get rolled.
This is the 2nd Reforge on your base 60% Fire Wep (you can double reforge items IF they don't have any "Magic" properties & elemental damage does not count)..

    3) Imbue it up as I want

    4) Enhance with Bronze (probably use a 100% enhance tool though maybe 120 Smith / +60 Ash is pretty close to 100% enhance chance.. not sure atm without looking)

Anyway.... Better ideas than this bc it's going to be a pain on a real shard lol...

    THX.

    Enhance it before you imbue..

Apart from that, it seems a reasonable method.

I believe a better method would be:

    1. Reforge with Shadow Runic hammer.
-Powerful, with Exquisite/Quality name. (I usually get 100% elemental weapons every 1-2 hammers with no other mods)

    2. Reforge with Copper Runic hammer.
-Powerful if you like the idea of getting a weapon with 45 Velocity. Skip the powerful reforge if you only want max of 40.

Last time I tried to reforge an enhanced 100% weapon a second time, it would not allow me because it was made from 'special materials'

    Good luck on your weapon!

Well.. I guess what it really comes down to is statistics...
I know that a Dull copper Runic produces 1-2 Mods, so I assume it's a 50 / 50 probability that 1 vs 2 Mods happen but if you mix Powerful Reforge into the Mix I believe you can get even 3 Mods with a DC Runic. It's nice that you can get 45% Velocity with a Powerful Copper Runic Reforge, but now you can get up to 4 Mods with the Powerful & from my testing the odds of 45% Velocity are like 1 : 100 with Powerful so that's like 300+ runic charges at a Minimum. That Doesn't include the 100% Fire aspect so it just gets much tougher. I guess I simply need to get a grasp on the probabilities & have Powerful or other Reforge options effect them....

The Tables Tell you what's possible and non bracketed vs [bracketed] #'s even go so far as to tell you what's likely... but the actual odds of things happening it doesn't show you. Heck I'd love to quantify what "Powerful" means.... I'm sure it adds a certain amount of intensity into the pool so that the properties selected can either be greater in Value or even select MORE properties than the runic level would allow... Anyway the system is pretty confusing or maybe it's just that not enough people have # crunched it yet.

The easiest way is to find a 100% fire throwing weapon (with no other properties) as monster or Ter Mur T-map loot, and reforge it (and not have to try to get the elemental damage from reforging). Elemental damage weapons with no other properties are treated as 0-property for reforging.

Similarly, you could do any 60+ Fire, rest in physical, throwing weapon with no other properties, and enhance with bronze after the reforging.

HeHe Basara.. You missed the part where I said

"1) Dull Copper Runic --> Inspired (Exquisite / of Quality) Hope for 60% Fire Damage / 40% physical & only 1 Mod or Self Repair (SR goes away when you imbue) "

Yea I know Dull copper runics can only really acheive 100% Fire weapons bc the intensity they produce without using Powerful Reforging is only 60% Fire which is the only elemental damage that can be enhanced up to 100% via the +40% of Bronze. The Mosnter loot is a good point, but the lack of exceptional craftsmanship will cost me 50 pts when I get around to Imbuing & since its for PvP that isn't going to fly.
Actually at this point I think I'm inclined to try to get the 60% Fire / 40% physical using DC Runics & then go for the Powerful Copper Runic Reforge & try for 45% Velocity though I think I will have to specify both Equisite & probably Haste since Haste has the greatest # of other Mods that I plan to Imbue on my Weapon... Gah it's going to be a pain though once you consider that 1 : 100 weapons gets 45% Velocity or so not even counting how the other Mods Roll out. I'll have to post my results once I make up my mind about what & how I want to acheive it & actually start Burning Charges..

    Thx though!
