We've all had issues with large companies that could not be resolved through normal support channels. Next time this happens to you, I'd like to offer some tips for resolving these issues: 1) Executive Email Carpet Bomb (EECB). Consumer Reports' blog, The Consumerist, publishes a lot of email addresses for senior company executives. An EECB recently helped me resolve some issues with Verizon, which numerous calls to CSRs, supervisors, and managers failed to resolve. 2) Better Business Bureau complaints. US and Canada-based companies don't like marks on their BBB reports. If a well-written, reasonable complaint is submitted, companies will usually reach out for resolution. A BBB complaint regarding one of my website hosts recently put me in direct contact with the hosting company's president. Hope these tips help.
