I am surprised after all the gold inflation posts and lower gold amount on monsters not many really saw the cause to some of the problem. Someone on another post posted about adjusting the gold at champ spawns to the amount of players that do them, that actualy is a nice idea and with the covetous waves not droping gold at all could problay be done aswell. Back to the orginal reason behind the post, and then let the powergamer bash begin. The monsters used to have a random 1 second up to 2 minute respawn rate after you kill them. In the past that lead to the dungeon crawls (clearings via guilds) aswell many hunts. With one of the expansions someone had an idea lets make the monsters spawn instantly to make things harder. All that really did is make alot of the places in the game no reason to visit or explore and it made farming for gold simple and fast. The ice fiend room in ice dungeon seems to be on the old respawn timer on how the entire game used to work. Some people asked to please increase that I read awhile ago, but if you want fast spawn goto the deamon temple and watch the deamons just pile up to untold numbers at ur feet and keep respawning while you just have time to maybe grab the gold. Now the new things shouldn't have a slower spawn since there is more players more than likely to go and hunt or farm for whatever the monsters have. Nor the champ spawns be changed. I had friends who rejoined the game and left again due to just the respawn, they thought it was kind of silly and just wasn't what they remembered. The game is a faster paced game with the faster spawn in the 8 or so years but I really think it is hurting it more than helping. Orgin's quote was "We Create Worlds" I always think you kind of stick to that to keep the sandbox happy. Sanctuary dungeon could be a nice place but just one of many places that will remain empty unless throw a farming item in. Just be nice if you go kill something it stays dead for abit =) , least that is my thought on the gold and the game and problay only beef.
