Well i finally did it after some time away.

So anyone help with a couple of questions...

    Where is everyone ?
Wheres the popular hunting grounds these days ?
    Does anyone craft anymore ?

Kind of nice to return to something i used to enjoy but it is looking a tad bit empty to me. Hopefully i'll stay tho.

All that empty space makes you think twice about staying.. I am only hoping things will get better come September..

To be honest the space shouldn't be a problem (already plotted my new 18x18), have found one good friend from years back who's still here so it's not all bad.

Back in the day there was only a small handful of friends who i used to hang with so large numbers aint a problem, it would just be good to see 'life' at the bank or something, i know Luna's the main place but i do remember when WBB was packed and you never knew where to stand because of all the people there.

Not to worry tho... i'm back so i'll see how it goes.

Since my return i found that population is low but not so low to make the game unplayable: we are just spread all over a land that has grown a lot.

Popular hunts. Well i found out that if you ask in general chat (a nice addition if you can withstand pvpers insulting eachother) it is not hard to gather a few brave adventurers to join a peerless fight or doom or some nasty big boss.

The real difference from old days it that you have to gather people before to start the hunt: if you go to the doom gauntlet alone chances are that you will also find yourself alone down there.

So no hunt is popular and all hunts are popular.

Crafting. There is a skill, Imbuing, that lets you add magical properties to weapons, armor and jewelry. It is great fun because you can (finally) create the suite that fits your playstyle and you can experiment with properties without having to pay billions for player crafted things or artifacts.

Drawbacks. In pvm there are really two classes left: the sampire (necromancy-chivalry and some fighting skill) and the rest. If you play the sampire you are free to hunt almost everything in the game - save for maybe one or two anti-sampire designed mobs.

If you choose one of the others you will find yourself engaged in fights that are not even challenging or you will face things you can't really do - because they take ages to kill or because you can't even scratch them.

My character was 'born' in 2002, so not a ninja type... just a regular mage that took up a few other skills along the way.

Seems i've lost all my dye tubs tho, went to just about every vendor i could find in luna and not a sausage ??? What happen to dye tubs ??? Seems theres lots on new things i have no idea about.

AND... wtf with the price of recall scrolls !!! Seems i'll have to dust the old scribe off and setup a vendor (corner that market again), i ain't paying 700gp for 10 recall scrolls.

I leave for 5 minutes and the place goes to pot !!! ;)

I did say that in regards to population, not Housing.. ;P Obviously. Nothing wrong with lots of House spots being available.
